How David Harte braved Dutch interviews to secure dream role in professional football 

It’s rare that you find a job that combines both of your passions, but somehow I’ve managed to do that. My whole life, I’ve been obsessed with sport, but my other passion is education. 

Regular readers of my column will know that I have a BSc in Physical Education and Biology, but only a few will know that I already work, aside from being a professional hockey player that is, as a consultant for the World Academy of Sport (World Sport’s Education Partner).

Hving completed my Master in November, I decided I wanted a new challenge. Like many people, I Googled ‘top 10 companies to work for in The Netherlands’. It brought back a few companies but none hit the mark.
