Meet the family hockey clan of seven players

Having one hockey-obsessed child to ferry round for training and matches is hard enough. So imagine the energy levels of a mother who does it for seven! That is exactly what Ruth Barber does.  

Responsible for more than a half a hockey team and home education, the Bradford-based mother has her hands full but insists the game has brought the family so much joy in the decade since it was introduced to her clan.

With an age range of 13 to 22, there is still a while yet before the Barber parents can start relaxing on Saturdays.
