What was your earliest ambition?
To enjoy my sport. I think at a very young age I didn’t have huge dreams of representing my country, because that just wasn’t on my radar at that point. I just wanted to go out and enjoy my sport with my friends and teammates around me.
The event that altered the course of your life and character….
Losing someone very close to me from suicide, which unfortunately is affecting a lot more people in today’s society.
