Hockey JWC: Spain issue ‘let us play’ plea while Canada left stranded

Spain’s Junior World Cup women’s team have issued a rallying call ‘to let us play’ while Canada have been left stranded in South Africa following the postponement of the women’s JWC.

Sixteen nations were set to compete in Potchefstroom from Dec 5 to 16 before the FIH put the event on hold due to the outbreak of the new variant in South Africa.
