Duncan Long, Clifton Robinsons’ chairman, aims to build upon the club brand as the Bristol outfit celebrates its 500th league hockey game in the women’s top flight this weekend.
Long took over from Janis Sinton this season after the businesswoman stepped down from the role after 20 years in the role and overseeing the successful merger of Clifton women and men’s side Robinsons HC in 2016. Sinton remains a vice-president of the club.
“We are competitive on the pitch and we aren’t just an elite club,” Long told The Hockey Paper.
