South Africa and Canada in line for FIH Hockey Pro League

South Africa and Canada are in talks with the FIH over joining the men’s FIH Pro League for season 3, The Hockey Paper can reveal.

The two nations are in line to join the global league for this season only after Australia and New Zealand pulled out due to Covid restrictions.

THP asked FIH for confirmation after Pro League fixtures including South Africa and Canada matches were posted to the FIH calendar for 2022, which has since been taken down.
