Hockey World Cup qualifiers: Scotland men set for history-making tilt

Such is the strength of European hockey, Scotland men are chasing a first ever berth at the FIH Hockey World Cup this week.

The Blue Sticks take on Austria as they bid to avert a three-peat on Thursday. Twice they were beaten by the Austrians at the EuroHockey Championships II in the summer, including the final on a shoot-out when it looked as if Scotland had gold in sight.
