Wimbledon women have their eyes set firmly on a top-six place in Phase One of the Premier Division season as they look to improve on last season’s strong start.
The London outfit sat second after six games in 2020/21 before the league was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tokyo 2020 stars Sarah Jones, Susannah Townsend, Hollie Pearne-Webb and Fiona Crackles have all signed over the summer to bolster the playing squad, while Anna Toman has departed.
Speaking to The Hockey Paper, Sarah Jones was excited for the new season and opened up on her reasons for joining Wimbledon, as well as her Tokyo 2020 experience.
