Ancient and Aspirants players set for action

A pandemic will not deter the Masters hockey scene, nor will the element of fun. July will see the return of Kettering under-14’s match against the Aspirants, a team of over-70s players.

The match will be part of the annual Ancient and Aspirants tournament in August, organised by Masters stalwart Bill Greenwood.

“They love it so much and the old boys really enjoy playing it,” says Greenwood. “Both of them learnt from each other and got on really well.”
