Keeping hockey active during lockdown

Since lockdown, hockey enthusiasts and pros have used their initiative to keep up training and their love of the game

Looking at drab paving proved too much for Jonathan Forey, who purchased some astro and got his children skills active, with some Disney figures.

With GB players locked out of Bisham and training at home, the central programme athletes with garage space have also gone green.

Back in March, all those weeks ago, Ireland’s Nicci Daly’s  daily #hockeyathomechallenge  went viral.

Due credit to coach Jimmy Culnane, who is three weeks into his hockey at home skills challenges. For the archive, click here

Not forgetting goalkeepers, top stopper Maddie Hinch has also been posting an array of different keeper techniques from her backyard
