Dutchman Roelant Oltmans is Malaysia’s new head coach after he replaced Stephen Van Huizen on Monday.
Oltmans, 64, quit the same role with Pakistan 10 days ago, while he will now aim to guide Malaysia to the Tokyo Olympics.
Van Huizen has now been tasked with becoming assistant coach and team manager. Oltmans guided the Netherlands to 1996 Olympic gold and ther 1998 World Cup title.

Mohd Mushtaque Ahmad has now elected as the President of Hockey India following the 8th Hockey India Congress and Elections. Ahmad, who formerly held the Secretary General post, will take over from outgoing President Rajinder Singh as Hockey India Chief after being elected unopposed.

Jen Wilson’s first match in charge of the Scotland women’s National Team saw the Tartan Hearts get off to a 2-1 win at the Hockey Wales National Centre. Goals from Fiona Burnet and Millie Brown gave the Scots the ascendancy before a late penalty stroke pulled one back for the hosts in Cardiff.

The International Hockey Federation (FIH) has revealed the women’s Hockey Champions Trophy Changzhou 2018 playing schedule.
Taking place at the Wijun Hockey Stadium between 17-25 November, the opening match will be between the hosts China and Great Britain at 14:00 on the opening day.
