More hockey World Cup tickets on sale Saturday morning

A further tranche of hockey World Cup tickets will be available from 8am (UK) time Saturday morning.

The official ticket site is SEE tickets in the Netherlands (the pages are available in English too). Registration takes a few minutes but with tickets likely to sell fast, it is probably best to do this in advance.

The extra tickets for the tournament in the Hague from May 31 to June 14, 2014 have become available due to returns from countries that have not sold their allocations. Previously sold-out sessions including the finals and semi-finals are expected to be made available.

KNHB (Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond) director, Johan Wakkie, said: “We have now sold around 125,000 tickets and it is expected that this number after this weekend will be substantially higher again! In addition to the tickets available to the public, there are also hospitality tickets available.”
