The Euro Hockey League K016/KO4 at Easter will feature a goalkeeper award decided by votes on the EHL Facebook fan page.
After each match day, a picture of EHL goalkeepers will be posted online. Fans can vote for their favourite goalkeeper by adding the keeper’s name in the comments. The club of the most popular keeper of the touurnament wins two EHL mini goals.
The competition marks the EHL’s extended contract with ERMA as supplier of goals and dugouts. The association with ERMA dates back to 2007. In 2013 ERMA Sport introduced their new X hockey goal, which are used in the EHL. The deal has now been extended to 2017.
Director/owner of ERMA Sport, Erwin Schorn, said: “Besides the fact that we are official supplier of Swiss Hockey and the German Hockey Federation we are very happy to continue the cooperation with the EHL. As the market leader producing sport products in The Netherlands we love to support this great hockey event.”
