It’s tight at the top in the NOW: Pensions Men’s Hockey League Premier Division

[img_assist|nid=6596|title=|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=82|height=100]Reading will be looking to keep the pressure on at the top of the NOW: Pensions Men’s Hockey League Premier Division when they entertain Hampstead and Westminster on Sunday.

Currently second on goal difference only, they face a stern test in Hampstead and Westminster, who moved up to fourth after a 3-2 win over Cannock last weekend.

With three teams level on 12 points at the top of the table, the next couple of weeks could prove crucial to all their title ambitions.

Having returned from competing in the Euro Hockey League last weekend, Beeston have a double-header weekend.

On Sunday the Bees host Canterbury who moved up to sixth after beating Wimbledon last weekend. That follows a trip to Sheffiled Hallam on Saturday afternoon.

Premier Division newcomers Sheffield are also doubling up – they visit fellow strugglers Cannock on Sunday.

Current table toppers East Grinstead, who hammered Loughborough Students 8-1 last weekend, face Wimbledon on Sunday

In the NOW: Pensions Conference East, leaders Southgate will want to get back to winning ways after their first defeat of the season at the hands of St Albans. But a return to form won’t come easy – they host Holcombe who have a game in hand and may go top if they win.

University of Durham continue to dominate the NOW: Pensions Conference North and will hope to make it six wins from six as they host Khalsa. But with Bowdon breathing down their necks, they can’t afford to slip up.

Cardiff have the luxury of sitting atop the NOW: Pensions Men’s Conference West with a game in hand after their Euro Hockey League campaign last weekend. They take on bottom of the table Guildford, while second-placed Havant play University of Birmingham.
