[img_assist|nid=3469|title=|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=100|height=66]EAST GRINSTEAD, October 28 – Ireland, England and Scotland’s repersentatives in the Euro Hockey League round 1.2 have all moved through to the last 16 stage of the competition.

Reading HC continued their fine record of never failing round two qualification when they narrowly defeated Saint Germain 2-1 in Pool B. Having six points now the English league champions will follow Pool winners KHC Dragons (BEL) into the next Round while the French league runners-up are eliminated from this year’s competition.
Waterloo Ducks topped Pool D after defeating Round 1.2 hosts East Grinstead HC 2-1 on their home turf. It is the first time in their fourth EHL appearance that the Belgian side will enter round two as pool winners. Both teams had beaten SC Stroitel Brest from Belarus in their previous matches meaning both were already qualified for KO16 before today’s match.
Northern Irish Lisnagarvey HC caused a significant upset in Pool G when their match against HC Bloemendaal finished with just a 3-0 defeat. This result makes the all-Ireland champions qualify for KO16 being the first-ever team from Northern Ireland to reach the knock-out stage. Bloemendaal are Pool winners, Lille MHC (FRA) finished last.
Rot-Weiss Köln grabbed the first place in Pool H after their huge 12-1 victory over AHTC Wien. The Austrian champions finished last in the Pool and could not realise their aim of becoming the first Austrian team to reach KO16 qualification. Second-ranked Glynhill Hotel Kelburne (SCO) will join Cologne in Round 2.
