Six men’s over 60s hockey fixtures are being planned over over six months with all games played on Sundays at same venue each time with second round matches on the opposite surface.
The organisers are trying to recreate the old-style club atmosphere of hockey and it is definitely the partaking rather than the winning that matters most. With all games on each fixxture day played at the same venue, a healthy trunout in the clubhouse should be assured.
