Reading and East Grinstead to clash in Europe

The Euro Hockey League draw has thrown up an English Derby with national champions East Grinstead to play Reading in the round of 16.
The other English club in the draw, Beeston, will play Dinamo Kazan of Russia.
Dutch club HC Bloemendaal will host the round of 16 and quarter final games over Easter weekend, 2011.

The other English club in the draw, Beeston, will play Dinamo Kazan of Russia.
Dutch club HC Bloemendaal will host the round of 16 and quarter final games over Easter weekend, 2011.
The winners of the EG Reading clash will play either KHC Dragons (BEL) or Rot-Weiss Köln (GER) in the quarter finals. If Beeston go through, they will face the winners of HGC (NED) versus Glennane HC of Ireland. The other Irish club Pembroke Wanderers will play Club de Campo (ESP). The winner of that game will play either Mannheimer HC (GER) or Atlètic Terrassa HC (ESP) in the quarter finals.
The match schedule and match times will be announced later in 2010 following discussions with television outlets.
The draw will progress through to the final, although EHL reserves the right to amend the draw progression in round four if two teams from the same nation reach the semi-finals.
The EHL Final Four will be played on 11/13 June 2011 in conjunction with the EuroHockey Club Champions Cup for Women Finals.
