England hockey bank on six appeal for Wembley indoor finals

The national indoor hockey finals have been re-badged as ‘super-sixes’ and are moving to the Wembley Arena, London for 2011.
The finals will also be a one-day event this year. Last season’s two-day schedule, which also incorporated junior events, was held in Nottingham.
The ‘super sixes’ will take place on Sunday January 30, 2011 in what is being billed as a ‘spectator-friendly format’ consisting of the men’s semi-finals – featuring the top four from the indoor league – followed by the women’s final and the men’s final.
