ENGLAND hockey goalie Nick Brothers is targeting a new playing contract… with Swindon Town.
The 27-year-old goalkeeper, who has played 22 times for his country, took part in the opening stage of Samsung’s Win A Pro Contract competition on Sunday with the aim of bagging a deal at Swindon’s County Ground
Brothers, from Fairford, will be put through his paces in front of club scouts and coaches at the west London trial.

Brothers, from Fairford, will be put through his paces in front of club scouts and coaches at the west London trial.
The nationwide competition has attracted more than 2,500 entries and players will take part in a series of regional and national trials, before a winner is chosen by Town boss Danny Wilson in December.
The winner will sign a professional playing contract with the club and join the first team squad in January.
